The beautiful space at Forbidden Fruit is now open for bookings for private events, and we’re excited to announce our collaboration to offer experiences that include wine tasting, dining or a combination of both!

Meet Lady of the Grapes & Forbidden Fruit

Set within the beautiful Victorian architecture of the Menier Chocolate Factory in London Bridge, Lady of the Grapes, founded by Carole Bryon, champions female winemakers and focuses on organic, low-intervention wines. You might also know Lady of the Grapes from their original, cosy bistro in Covent Garden.

Tucked beneath the main dining room is Forbidden Fruit. This speakeasy-style, cellar bar features beautiful arched ceilings and an inviting, secluded feel. It provides an ideal setting for private events.

Meet Vinjoyment

Lorena is the founder of Vinjoyment, a London-based project dedicated to sharing a love for the world of wine in a fun and approachable way. Originally from Mexico City but with a multicultural background, Lorena's focus is on artisanal, low-intervention wines. Drawing on her career in geopolitics, Lorena approaches wine not through rigid analytical frameworks, but through storytelling. Her events highlight the people, regional context and natural environments that help us understand what is in our glass.

Private events at Forbidden Fruit

We have different packages for you to choose from depending on your group's needs: wine tasting only; wine tasting and dinner; dinner only.

All the dining arrangements are made by the stellar chefs at Lady of the Grapes, and the wine tasting sessions are personally curated and led by Vinjoyment.

Packages start from £100 per person, with a minimum of 15 guests. Smaller teams are very welcome, please just ask!
